RCR In-Person Training for Postdocs: PHIL 6000 B2 Fall 2014

Dates:  Mondays from August 18 to October 6, 2014 - 12:05  to 1:55 PM

Location:  Instructional Center 115

The GT RCR Compliance Policy requires NSF-funded postdoctoral trainees on "RCR/Ethics Training flagged" projects to complete at least 4 hours of in-person RCR training (8 hours for NIH).  This training is a condition of the award and is a GT deliverable.   (The in-person training is in addition to the CITI online training requirement.)

PHIL 6000 is one option for satisfying the in-person RCR training requirement.   Postdoctoral trainees may register to sit in on PHIL 6000 through this site but they must contact the course instructor in order to discuss the conditions for receiving in-person training credit.

IMPORTANT:  Graduate students should NOT register through this site.  Students must register through OSCAR in order to earn credit for RCR training.

Cayuse424 helps organizations collaborate, manage, and apply for federal funding. Cayuse424 is a hosted Web application created specifically for Grants.gov and the complex federal grant proposal process. Cayuse424 analyzes submission data from Grants.gov and allows more reliable and more accurate preparation and submission of federal grant proposals. Their rejection rate is very low because Cayuse424 performs over 1,000 validations, including all Grants.gov validations, prior to submission. The Office of Sponsored Programs will be providing training of the Cayuse software throughout the year. Training will cover: User Start-up, Managing Professional Profiles, Managing and Editing Proposals, Attaching Documents to the Proposal, Preparing Budgets, Proposals with Subawards.com, Routing and Approving Proposals, Submitting Proposals.
